Honors organic chemistry
Most everyone I know who was required to take organic chemistry ended up hating it. Perhaps I'm a little crazy, but organic chemistry was actually one of my favorite courses I have taken. To me it was like solving a puzzle, and I never felt like I was just memorizing the pieces, but that I was truly learning how they fit together.
We constantly had it drilled into our head during the first quarter, that electron interactions came down to the conjugation of molecular orbitals. And during the second quarter, it was all about kinetics ("so easy a monkey could do it" -Professor Gelb). Whatever it was, it always just seemed to click.
